"Hmm," he agrees, waggling his eyebrows in amusement. "Well, I can tell you that your talents alone have me very much rising to the occasion, so to speak. I can only hope I can cause you to do the same."

It's the sort of banter Marius enjoys; ridiculous puns and innuendo. He laughs himself, his head thrown back against the pillows. Well, until Jake winds up at the top of his thigh, creeping slowly inward.
