Marius can't seem to stop smiling, even as he leans in to steal a quick kiss from Rat's lips. They need to clean up, and likely, eat again, after spending what energy they did gain from breakfast. But Marius is more than content to simply lay here, holding Rat and being held, indulging in the luxury of loving and being loved. "I'm glad," he replies softly, catching the unspoken meaning in Rat's words. "And I am so glad I get to experience this with you."
