Marius soothes his hands through Rat's hair and slowly inhales, breathing in his lover. Bathing like this makes him consider the possibility of finding a larger bathtub for themselves at their apartment, if only to indulge in moments like this more often.

Rat doesn't often vocalize his doubts, though Marius knows he thinks them, all the same. He leans in to press a gentle, assuring kiss first to Rat's temple and then to his cheek. Finally, he pulls him in for a soft, loving kiss to his lips. "It's a vulnerable situation," he admits. "Either of us could disappear at any moment. But this is real, I promise." He caresses Rat's face before nuzzling him, settling his face against that of his lover.

"I've never had the experience of wearing my hair up before," he ponders, smiling.
