Rat sighs contently and closes his eyes, letting Marius soothe at his hair. It's a simple gesture and one which he'd like to do more often if only their bathtub at home was large enough to recreate the experience on a regular basis. "I still don't trust this is real sometimes," he admits.

He doesn't talk about the way he doesn't think he deserves it or the simple fact that he should be too monstrous for someone like Marius. His lover knows those things already, even if Rat suppresses them.

"We'll see if I have enough hairpins and ties in my bag," he says, amused. "My hair is too short for it anyway."
