"Oui, quite," Marius agrees, grinning into that kiss. He sighs when Rat takes over rubbing the shampoo into his hair, leaning back into his touch as water mixes with floral-scented shampoo. "And yet, I don't hear you complaining."

He lets his legs unfurl in the vast space of the tub, his body fully unwinding. God, but the warm water and Rat's presence feels so damned good.

He turns and grins as Rat sinks in beside him, savoring the sight of the flush on his face. Marius leans in to press a kiss to his cheek.

"I love you too," Marius says, voice breathy with the weight of all the feeling he places behind the words. He leans his head against Rat's, bringing an arm to wrap around his shoulders.

"This was the best idea," he says, referring to the whole vacation.
