"That sounds terribly immodest of you," Rat says, not precluding himself from shameless displays of his body. He finds himself relaxing when Marius kisses him, a little relieved that they're both taking it in stride because Marius is alluring to him in this form as much as he is as a man. If Marius would allow him, Rat would happily reacquaint himself with his lover.

"I'm not sure of that comparison. I'm not the least bit French." Carefully, inch by inch, Rat finger combs the long, coppery waves. It's not substitute for properly combing his hair, but it'll do for a start. He can see the red flush in Marius' cheeks and wonders if he can make Marius flush deeper.

Kissing Marius again softly, he admits, "I'm very intrigued by this change. Is that wrong of me?"
