Marius is covered in dirt by now himself, and he can feel his lip bleeding from where it hit the ground. At the sight of Courfeyrac, however, and his entirely ruined new outfit, he can't help but laugh, even as he helps his friend up. "I think your horse disapproves of your fashion choices," he says. Not that he has any room to talk, with how utterly country he must look himself.
