"It is an odd thing, to be so small again," Marius replies ruefully, glancing down at himself before turning his gaze back to Flavia. He feels odd, having to look up to her for once. It's a realization that makes him truly feel the size of his age.

He blinks, letting her offer sink in for a moment.
